Careers
Make vertical stories that move fast and feel human.
Motion Nest Productions is a short-form video studio producing Reels and Shorts for brands that need clear, consistent, mobile-first content. We work with editors, producers, shooters, caption specialists, strategists, and production support who care about craft, communication, and reliable delivery.
Culture
Small teams, sharp briefs, respectful collaboration.
We are building a studio culture around practical creativity: strong pre-production, clean handoffs, thoughtful edits, and content designed for the way people actually watch on phones. Our work is fast-paced, but we do not confuse urgency with chaos.
Motion Nest Productions values people who show up prepared, ask clear questions, protect client trust, and stay open to feedback. We like collaborators who can balance brand guidelines with platform-native instincts: tighter hooks, readable captions, smart pacing, and a sense of visual rhythm.
What matters here
- Clear communication before, during, and after a shoot or edit.
- Respect for deadlines, scope, files, and client confidentiality.
- Comfort creating content for Reels, Shorts, and vertical campaigns.
- A practical eye for story, captions, framing, and retention.
Freelance network
How we work with independent creatives
Project-based assignments
Most freelance work is scoped around specific shoots, edit batches, strategy sprints, or monthly Reels retainers. We confirm deliverables, timing, usage needs, and review steps before work begins.
Organized production flow
We aim to provide briefs, references, shot lists, brand notes, and export requirements in one place so collaborators can focus on doing strong work instead of chasing details.
Long-term relationships
When a freelancer is a good fit, we prefer to keep working together. Consistency helps our clients, our producers, and the final content feel more intentional.
How to apply
Send a concise note and relevant samples.
If you would like to be considered for freelance or future studio opportunities, email admin@motionnest.site. Please include your role, city or time zone, availability, portfolio links, a short summary of the types of projects you handle best, and any vertical video experience.
Editors may include before-and-after examples, captioned social cuts, or short-form series work. Production collaborators may share reels, BTS examples, gear notes, and preferred crew roles. We review submissions as project needs change and will reach out when there is a possible fit.
